Prisoner Transfers

RMNJ Mental Health Solicitors also specialise in acting for patients who have transferred from prison to navigate their care pathway through hospital with a view to returning to prison or obtaining discharge through the hospital estate.

We work closely with our Prison Law department to ensure a smooth transition to a parole board hearing and that the right to aftercare is upheld.

We specialise in Deprivation of Liberty cases, Welfare applications including capacity to make decisions about residence, contact, sexual relations, social media and treatment.
