The Mental Health Department at RMNJ was established in 1999 by Richard Nicholas and has grown and developed over the last few years to be one of the leading firms in the country specialising in this area of work.

The department has attracted several leading lawyers in this field, men and women with a wide range of expertise and a commitment to helping those with mental disorders caught up in the miasma of the legal system.

During 2004 RMNJ Mental Health Lawyers have represented several cases in both the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords.

Access and availability

RMNJ Mental Health Lawyers cover cases before hospitals throughout the North West Region and North Wales. Our coverage is extends from Blackpool to Birmingham and Bangor to Derby. We have two Welsh speakers on our staff and we have a large caseload in the North Wales area.
